A trip to Catalonia
Girona
You can continue your trip with province of Girona.
Lleida
You can continue your trip with the province of Lleida. Starting with la Seu d'Urgell and finishing in Vielha.
Tarragona
To finish your trip, you can go province of Tarragona and finish your trip some fun in Port Aventura, and go up Shambala, the highest roller coaster of Europe.
Barcelona
It's recommended to start you trip with Barcelona city. The most important places are: Sagrada Familia, Pedrera, Casa Batlló, Montjuic Mountain and Barcelona Cathedral.
Sagrada Familia
La Sagrada Familia is a Roman Catholic Church located in Sagrada Familia neighbourhood. Antoni Gaudí was the architect. It’s active but incomplete. The estimated date to finish it is in 2026 - 2028.
La Pedrera
Casa Mila, also known as "La Pedrera", is a modernist building located in Passeig de Gràcia,on the corner of Provence street. It was the last civil work designed by Antoni Gaudí and built between 1906 and 1910.
Casa Batlló
Casa Batlló is a renowned building located in the heart of Barcelona, designed by Antoni Gaudí. It is a remodel of a previously built house. It was built in 1877, but in 1904 Gaudí designed the remodel. In 2002, the house opened its doors to the public and in 2005 became a Unesco World Heritage Site.

Montjuic Mountain
The Monjuic mountain, situated in Sants neighbourhood, it’s one of the principal symbols of Barcelona. Their symbol it’s a castle. There, there are a lot of sport instalations, museums, the Poble Espanyol, the Caixa Forum, the Magic Fountain of montjuic… If you want to see Barcelona with another point of view, you can take the “Teleferic”, a cable car that travel above Barcelona.
Barcelona Cathedral
Barcelona Cathedral is the Gothic Catedral situated in Barcelona centre. The cathedral was constructed from the 13th to 15th centuries, with the principal work done in the 14th century.

If you go to Barcelona centre don’t forget to visit Plaça Catalunya (Catalonia square in english), Passeig de Gràcia (one of the major avenues in Barcelona) and La Rambla (the most tipical street in Barcelona).
Zoo and Park de la Ciutadella
If you have children, you can visit Barcelona Zoo, located next to the Parc de la Ciutadella, another nice place to visit.
Catalunya en miniatura
Another interesting place to visit is Catalunya en miniatura, a park only in Spain with miniature models of monuments, important buildings and sites, located on Torrelles.

Dalí Theatre-Museum was, for many years, a notable theater called Teatro Principal Figueres, built between 1849 and 1850 by architect Josep Roca Bros It is considered the largest surrealistic object in the world.

Portlligat
It’s recommended to visit Portlligat, a very beatiful village with a very important place, the House-Museum Salvador Dalí, a little house where Salvador Dalí lived until 52 years, that now is a museum.
Empuriabrava
If you had time, you can go Empuriabrava, a village located in the coast of Girona, the Costa Brava. There, you can do parachuting, there’s a nice place to practise it.
Port de la Selva
If you go in summer, you can go to the beach of Port de la Selva and do scuba diving. Port de la Selva is a village located in the north of Cap de Creus.

Santa Maria d'Urgell
Cathedral of Santa Maria d'Urgell is located in la Seu d’Urgell, it’s a Catholic temple. If you like history monuments, you have to visit this place!
Boi Taüll
Boi Taüll it’s a skii station located in catalan pyrinees, you can go skiing and skateboarding. There are luxury hotels in it, and you can spend one comfortably night there.
Vielha
Vielha is Vall d’Aran capital, it’s a very beautiful village and a nice place to do hiking or rock climbing. There, you can visit Sant Miquèu church with romanic and gothic elements.
Suda of Tortosa
Suda of Tortosa is a historical monument of Tortosa city. Suda is Arabic origin that means the same as castle or fortress.
Pont de les Ferreres
Pont de les Ferreres is a Roman bridge, part of Roman aqueduct in Tarragona, is located 4 km north of the city, was used well into the eighteenth century.
Port Aventura
Port Aventura is a theme park located in Tarragona. It was opened in 1995 and has among others the highest attraction in Europe. Port Aventura also features a water park and four hotels.
