'Twas The Undertaker's Night Before Christmas
by Elizabeth, Per. 1
Lang. Arts
'Twas the Undertaker's night before Christmas,
When all through the city...
Not a person was stirring, not even a kitty.
The coffins were hung by the corpses with care,
In hopes that the Undertaker will make them shine like a flare.
Ciel was tucked in all warm in his bed,
Dreaming that his parents weren't really dead.
And Sebastian in his suit and Tanaka drinking tea,
Were in the kitchen making a feast.
When all of a sudden, Finny heard the sound of clicking and clatter,
He arose from his bed to see what was the matter.
Towards the window, with urgency, he leaped,
As the floor was creaking beneath his two feet.
The moon was shining and it was snowing,
Which made the garden look like it was glowing.
And out of the nowhere, Finny saw a figure,
A man holding a bag with his slim fingers.
The man alone, dancing so joyful and quick,
He knew in a moment it couldn't be St. Nick.
As fast as a hare and his voice like a bell,
He shouted, and whistled, and spoke to himself.
"How fun it's to give all these presents full of magic,
For children to wake up and forget about logic.
Now off to the Phantomhive's to visit Ciel,
For one day it'll be my turn to make him pretty, as well."
As Baldroy was walking past the doorway,
He heard some noises near the hallway.
Baldroy ran to the living room and he found,
That down the chimney, the man came with a bound.
He was dressed in gray from his feet to his head,
And the robes that he wore were filthy with dread.
A purplish-grey bag flung on his back,
That carried all the presents and a small orange cat.
His teeth-how they sparkled, his smile-how pretty,
His nose was quite pointy, but his eyes weren't as cheery.
He had a scar right across his face,
And his laugh was filled with insanity and grace.
The man giggled a bit, then went straight to his work
And delivered the presents, with a little smirk.
As quickly as that he climbed up the chimney,
To go give more presents to the rest of the city.
As he was running and jumping away from the mansion,
Mey-Rin stared at him with no sudden reaction.
Though he was quite far she heard the Undertaker say,
"Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good day."
Mey-Rin out in the garden, looking at the clouds,
Heard somebody on the roof laughing out loud.
And with no surprise shown on her face,
She saw the Undertaker run and stare into space.
