Heat & Temperture! Chapter 13. gnfnf t ttgggffdd Absolute zero. The temperature at which molecular energy is at minimum (zerok on the Kelvin scale or -273.16 dergees C on the Celsius scale.) Thermometer. An instrument that measures and indicates temperature. Temperature. A measure of how hot (or cold) something is; specifically, a measure of the average kinetic energy of the particles in an object.
Heat. The energy transferred between
objects that are different temperatures.
