grouping of activities or tasks based on the basic functions
we can avoid duplication of tasks
to improve the skills and enhance the career development and training
easy to train new employees
can reduce the costs and management problems
more efficient problems solved and decision can be made quickly
no emphasis on cooperations
no exchange of ideas with other departments
development of managers and employees only in limited areas
reduce communications between departments
will increase the cost and times if the problems affect other departments
