Roe v Wade 7A
Transcript of Roe v Wade 7A
Catholics disapprove of Abortion
The Case is Brought to the Supreme Court
The majority of Catholics disapprove of abortion because God says multiple times in the bible that all life is sacred and is from God. Pope Francis has addressed this issue multiple times.
This case was brought to the supreme court because Texas wasn't lifting the "No abortion" law and because she thought that that law violated he first, ninth and fourteenth amendment rights. She also believed that all women had the right to choose what is done to their bodies.

Appellant Roe declined abortion
The Final Decision
Jane Roe, a pregnent woman who wanted to abort her baby, sued on behaf of other women who also were declined a abortion. She couldent abort her baby because the texas law said that the only leagal abortions were ones that would save the mothers life.
Roe won the case in a 7-2 majority at the Supreme Court on January 22, 1973, making abortion legal in America. This changed America in the future because now women can have abortion legally.
Roe V Wade
Abortion is Murder
The second side of this argument is that women should have a choice with what happens to their bodies. Another arguement for pro-Choice is that when abortion was illegal there were
“Let’s say ‘Yes’ to life and ‘No’ to death.”
Abortion is Your Choice.
The first side of this case is that even though you cant see the baby living inside a mothers womb, doesn't mean it is not there and killing that baby is murder.
