Isael Valenzuela what characteristics does Theocracy have? Who has the authority in the country? How are the leaders chosen? Theocratic governments generally make up their own laws based on what their religious beliefs are. A form of government in which God or deity is recognized as the supreme civil ruler, the Gods or deitys laws It was ruled by the worlds Roman Catholics. The leaders are chosen by citizens. Do the leaders have to follow the same laws as everyone else? Theocracy Is there a peaceful way to replace the leaders? What are some examples of theocracy? Italy during such times as the Renaissance when Pope Leo and his successors were simultaneously secular and religious leaders. Iran is another example of theocracy. What does theocracy look like in each country? How does theocracy style in each country affect its economic system? Conducting buissness must adhere to the general systems and maintain proper status within the society's laws. What are some advantages of theocracy? A single state supported religion encourages political and social unity. What other interesting things did you discover about this type of government? The term theocracy signifies belief in governance by divine guidance a form of regime in which religion or faith plays the diminutive role. Through religious beliefs. There are clear similarities between the three governments, in that they do not encourage free will or free expression. What are some disadvantages? Citezens who do not believe in the majority can have their right abused.
