He created his own martial arts philosophy called 'Jeet kune do' that is still widely practiced ad studied today.
In Hollywood, his persistent attempts and eventual success in breaking through the barrier of racial prejudice opened up opportunities in the United States for a long line of Asian, Asian-American, and martial artists.
With the help of James Coburn and Stirling Silliphant, Bruce Lee created the film 'The Silent Flute' about a main character (white) on search for answers to many philosophical questions, like the purpose of life
Contribution to society
Bruce Lee to make the U.S. more open to people of different races and allowed more opportunities for martial artists to gain Hollywood type jobs
In the movie 'The Fist of Fury' Bruce Lee played the defender and champion of the Chinese. So whenever his character triumphed in the movie, it was almost as if the Chinese as a whole triumphed.
The Chinese had been exploited by higher powers for centuries so it felt good to have a role model like Bruce Lee.

In this picture Selena is wearing a very well known purple jumpsuit that signifies her and who she is. Selena Was known for being a very modest, flashy, successful Hispanic American that would have made it much further in the music industry than most performers.

Selena's style (being 'Crop-Tops' & 80's wear) and inspiration came from a specific and very famous performer named: Madonna. She praised both Madonna and Michael Jackson for all of their success and fortune. Her goal was to attain their standards to both Latin Americans and Americans.

Visual representation
This picture is symbolic because it shows a major point in Bruce Lee's career.
It is also symbolic because it shows how Bruce Lee kept fighting racial prejudice to become one of the most well known actors in the world.
His perseverance helped many people just like him waiting for their big break and inspired many to study martial arts.
