Transcript of The Odyssey

In the land of the Lotus,
Odysseus sent out three men
to explore the land. The three men ate the
lotus plant which is
a hallucinogen. The men then became under
the influence of the drug
and wanted to stay in the
land of the lotus forever. Odysseus and the rest
of his men were tempted
to eat the lotus plant
by the lotus-eaters. The Odyssey Temptations In the land of the Cyclops,
Odysseus was tempted to steal
the Cyclops' sheep. Odysseus had recieved a bag of winds from the god of winds, Aeolus. He told no one of the gift he had recieved. Soon his men became curious about the bag and were tempted to open it. Odysseus and his men
were tempted to submit
to the voices of the Sirens. Odysseus was tempted to
eat the cattle of the sun
god, also known as Helios.
While resisting this temptation,
Odysseus' men went without his
orders and cooked the cattle. In the land of the
lotus Odysseus and
his men were tempted
to eat the lotus plant
by the lotus eaters.
