Motivation & Vision
"[Motivation] involves the biological, emotional, social and cognitive forces that activate behavior. In everyday usage, the term motivation is frequently used to describe why a person does something."
Cherry, K. (n.d.). What is motivation?. Retrieved from http://psychology.about.com/od/mindex/g/motivation-definition.htm
Why?!
Why does LeeAnne do things?
Because she has to or else she'll die/get sick/get hurt.
Because she thinks she should.
Because that something is fun.
Because there's some delicious food involved.
Because it makes her feel good.
Because it makes other people happy*.
*Because that makes her happy.
Because it makes her better.
Because it will drive her crazy if she doesn't.

and cognitive forces" at work?

Motivation Plan
Getting to know you...
Everyone is motivated differently. Get to know yourself and what makes you tick!
You better redneckognize.
Honey Boo Boo's got it right. Recognize when you are struggling and when you're succeeding and DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!
Check yourself before
you wreck yourself.
Remember what motivates you: your basic needs and wants, and see how that's effecting your success.
Make a plan!

Reflect On Your Natural Talents/Strengths

“One should waste as little effort as possible on improving areas of low competence. It takes far more energy and work to improve from incompetence to mediocrity than it takes to improve from first-rate performance to excellence.”

What I enjoy doing the most is . . .
The best time in my life was . . .
A time when I was at my best was . . .
My most fulfilling experience was . . .

How do you think you can use your Strengths to move your passion forward into reality?

What do I care about?
What do I want to create?
How will you connect?
