Cirrhosis Causes Hepatitis B can be caught by contaminated blood products or needles.
This is frequently among Asian children.
Men are more at risk to get Hepatitis B.
Hepatitis C is more difficult to get than hepatitis b.
Again males are more at risk.
75% of japans men with liver cancer have been associated with hepatitis c. Hepatitis B (HBV)/Hepatitis C (HCV) Chronic alcohol consumption causes cirrhosis. This is the most associated with liver cancer.
As many as half of alcoholics previously suspected to have cancer within the liver.
Individuals with most types of cirrhosis are at an increased risk to develop liver cancer.
Certain causes of cirrhosis are less frequently associated with other causes. Alcohol/Cirrhosis Aflatoxin B1 has been implicated in the development of liver cancer.
It’s thought that cancer is caused by a producing change in the P53 gene.
The P53 gene is a tumor suppressing gene.
Over the past decade the incidents of liver cancer has risen along with the obesity rate.
Both diabetes and obesity can cause chronic damage to the liver.
Fatty liver disease causes damage to individual liver cells. Aflatoxin B1,diabetes, and obesity Surgery (partial hepactomy) only in small amounts is the used because a small number of cases fall into this category.
