This unit looks at the importance of ideas in business.
Companies use some terms such as
thinking
outside of the box
to refer to novel or non-conformist ideas and
blue sky thinking

which describes ideas that are conceptual/theoretical rather than practical.

An ideas-generating technique used by most organizations is
brainstorming

Internet has revolutionized how people make travel arrangements. When people go on business trips, their company is usually responsible for
travel arrangements
. They
book
flights and
make reservations
to hotel through a
travel agent
. The
itinerary
for a business trip often doesn't leave time for
sightseeing
or for getting to know a country. Some people plan to have a
career break
and
plan longer trips to any
destination
so they are able to travel
for
pleasure
.

can be tracked
over a quite a
long amount
of
time.
Fashion

something popular at the present
.
Fad
