Transcript of Sleepyhands

Sleepyhands is a band of lowercase individuals etched from the terraces of broader Sydney. Gathering in a suburban basement, they began confounding their neighbours with a furtive union of voices
and harmonic hooks. In their clandestine assemblies a handful of compulsively crafted songs
found their voice and caught the attention of their local radio station. Enlisting the assistance
of Jono Boulet (Parades), the 5 track EP is an effort to layer harmonies and languid
rhythms with homespun samples, amidst a wash of any instrument on offer. 2.
