Representation, input, buy-in and timelines
How can we make decisions, move forward when we disagree, and reflect and revise without getting bogged down and stuck in process?

Seattle Education Association Represented Staff
Input on Special Education Team Placements
Hiring (based on recommendation of site based hiring team + references)
After School Programs
Political supports (Schools First, etc.)
Parent representation (hiring, BLT, committees)
Strategic Plan and Initiatives
Hiring and Firing
Teams (Special Education, Classified, Primary, Intermediate, Specialists, PTA) meet and make recommendations to the BLT member, including negotiables
BLT attempts to come to consensus with defined negotiables
If no consensus reached, BLT rep comes back to team for further negotiables
If consensus reached, decision documented in BLT notes.
After two attempts at team level to come to consensus, admin decides.
BLT then attempts a second time to reach consensus given the teams' perameters
