on an outpatient basis in order to
let kids be kids. The patients are inspiring. As a participant, we have a lot of exciting things planned: Despite the often miraculous treatments provided at St. Jude, cancer is still the number one cause of death in children. Mattie Powell passed away June 6, 2010.
She was five years old. St. Jude & St. Joe's Up 'til Dawn has been a part of St. Joe's for ten years, and in
this time, we have raised over a half a million dollars!
At the heart of St. Jude's mission is a commitment to Jesuit ideals. No child is ever turned away because of their finances and every day the doctors and nurses are striving for magis, a world without cancer.
St. Jude is the patron saint of lost causes, but one look at the joy found inside the hearts of the patients reveals that they are anything but lost.
Saint Jude is their home because of all of the men and women tirelessly working with and for others. Cancer affects EVERYONE Regardless of major, class year, personal interests, or other commitments, you CAN unite to fight against childhood cancer.
St. Jude freely shares its research with hospitals
throughout the world, so you never know how your
fundraising today could affect your life tomorrow.
Tragically, some of these children will never have the
opportunity to go to college.
Help make your college years worth living. It's not about me;
it's not about you; it's about living for them.
Step outside of yourself and and set the world on fire for Saint Jude.
