Is based in the systematic learning.

draw the direct connection between the analysis of the target situation and the content ESP course only restricted area of the language

Has two main principles one theoretical and one pragmatic.
This basic theoretical hypothesis is that underlying language behavior one certain skills and strategies, which learner uses in order to produce or comprehend discourse.

Teacher influences the process but is not an active actor, is only a guide
Inflexible in the initial analysis, data is not important in itself, its go from particular situation to determine the content of pedagogic syllabus and materials.
Weaknes in language centred
Is static and inflexible
Too much logical
Is a reaction both to the idea of specific registers of English as a basis for ESP and the practical constraints on learning imposed by limited time and resource.
The student construct their own knowledge based in specific data, maximize the learning look beyond the competence that enable someone to perform.
The best of those is learning is the learning centered approach, because let certain freedom for both participants in the learning process, let the student to be more critical and logical, investigator and active participant for themselves, create and evaluate their own works and strengthen their weakness.
