all of these senses have something to do with imagery
THINK
When I think of the word Imagery of a picture. But when someone says think of imagery but in a reading term. Then I think of the image that comes to my mind as I am reading a book. I think of all of the senses and what the thing I am reading about and what it would be like.
Example
In the book 'To Build a Fire' By Jack London. The description of a fire is snapping, cracking, and dancing, those appear to the sight, sound.
Definition
When you look up Imagery in the dictionary it says"visually descriptive or figurative language” or “visual images collectively” or visual symbolism.

Imagery
Imagery consists of descriptive words and imagery which usually appeals to one of the five senses.
