Recent corporate transactions we have advised Micheldever on include:

• The acquisition of P & R Autocentres
We’ve been working with Irwin Mitchell for about 10 years, we’re a highly ambitious company and most of that interaction has been around buying businesses. We’ve got a number of properties across the UK so the property angle is very important.

If you were to look at it, most people see legal services as a bit of a commodity, which is true, any law firm can offer you the service. From my perspective it’s the people that are delivering the service, so the key is the relationships with the people I work with on a day-to-day perspective, that’s what keeps me with Irwin Mitchell."

CONTACTS
Jonathan Moritz, Finance Director
Represents 10 manufacturing brands
Lawyers from many of the Business Legal Services divisions have worked with Hendy Group over a number of years, including corporate, real estate, dispute resolution, pensions and commercial.

Recently we advised The Hendy Group on the acquisition of Lifestyle Motor Group. This was a complex deal best illustrated by our having six data rooms of documents for the client to consult and sign.
The approach to the transaction was pragmatic. It’s sometimes easy for lawyers to get rather too bound up in the technical aspects of the deal. I did feel that you got to the reality of each issue, and explained it sensibly and in proper layman’s terms where we could quite easily make a decision on it. I think the effort and dedication of the team involved was truly impressive.
