My Friend The Enemy
Transcript of My Friend The Enemy
In 1941 in England a German bomber crashes into a field in a small town. However rumors arise that someone parachuted out of the plane. When a young boy named Peter goes to find a souvenir he finds the parachutist and decides to he him from the army.
Connections to Book and Characters
Something I Didn't Like
I didn't like how there were things happening outside of the plot, even though they're making the book more realistic and better describe what it was like to live in England in World War II they still don't have too much effect on the main plot line.
Rating and Similar Books
I would give the book on a scale from 1 to 10, an eight because it could really show more focus on the main plot however it was still okay. It is similar to the book
because they both take place during World War II and both have to deal with deep personal conflicts.
My favorite part of the book was when Peter found the German airman because it starts to make the book more interesting. It also starts giving the plot line more detail.
My Friend the Enemy
I can connect to both this book and Peter because he has to decide whether or not to turn in the German airman, while I have to decide whether or not to tell on my sister if she does something wrong.
