Being a volunteer in the classroom
Parents are allowed to:
Tutor
Make copies
Share expertise in the topic that is being talked about. Professional experience, etc.

If colunteering in the classroom there are some things that the district requires:
You are here to help the teacher and the student, not to judge how the teacher is teaching.
Do not interrupt or chime in when the teacher is lecturing.
Reward and punishment is given by the teacher, please do not interact with that process.
Act in a professional manner and be open minded.
Shows your children that you care about them and their education.
Impacts student learning, resulting in better grades.
Opens up a good line of communication between you and your children. Trust is being built.
