Transcript of Robert Munsch

Robert MUNSch Biography Rober Munsch was born on June 11, 1945, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Robert grew up with a family of 9 kids. His mother still believes he acts like a 6 year old kid, though a very mature 6 year old. This is why younger childern love his books because they can relate to the story being told. All of Robert's stories are based on actual children. He has been doing this ever since he used to work at an orphanage, while he was studying to become a Jeuist priest. Though he soon realized that he liked working with kids rather than learning boring philosophy. Robert then decided to go back to school and learn what he was best at doing and that was working with kids. He then attended Elliot Pearson School of Child Studies at Tufts University in Medford, here he wrote his first of many stories now published. After attending the University Robert knew what he wanted to become, which is now a best selling childs author. He now lives in Canada in the Guelf region and he is still a 6 year old trapped in a 65 year old body. Robert is probably the most well known child's author in the United States and Canada. Impact on society Robert has impacted the lives of millions on his books alone. His creative thinking helps the readers to better understand the particular book there reading. Though he has impacted the lives of many children based on his kids books. These books are either based on actual children or fictional. Usually the main idea of the story is about a child and his/her problems. This helps children to really understand what Robert is saying in his books.
