What countries were involved?
The countries involved were North Korea, South Korea, China, Soviet Union, USA, and Australia.
What was the outcome of the war?
Who were the historical personalities involved and their roles?
Syngman Rhee, the first president of South Korea, boasted that he was going to attack North Korea. That gave North Korea an excuse to attack. North Korea communist army crossed the 38th parallel line. Kim II-Sung's armed with Soviet Union's arsenal, attacked and overran South Korea. United States who feared the spread of communism, helped aid the South Korea. With these actions taking place, the Korean War began.

33,600 American, 16,000 UN allied, 415,000 South Korean, 900,000 chinese and 520,000 North Korean casualties. The war was a stalemate, no one dominated the other and both countries stayed divided.

The war started in 1950 and ended in 1953. The war lasted for 3 years.
Syngman Rhee was elected president during the Korean War.
