When do kids become adults
By: Sofia Sorondo

Legal Age
In the other hand there is a an age to when you become an adult. The legal age to when you are an adult in the U.S. is 21. In the site I found it says “At the age of 21 you are able to buy alcohol”.
The Brain

Also the whole brain and yourself cannot become an adult in one moment. In the same story in line 15 it says “Different brain regions and systems mature along different timetables”.
No Age

There is no certain age for becoming an adult in my opinion. In my opinion becoming and adult is when you have to make a really strong decision by yourself.

In the story What the Brain says about maturity in says in line 1-10 “ Neuroscientists now know that brain maturation continues far later into development (...) significant changes in brain anatomy and activity are still taking place during young adulthood”.
Gradual Process

Becoming an adult is a gradual process it is not from one day to another. In the same story what the brain says about maturity I found in line 16 “ There is no single age at which the adolescent brain becomes an adult brain”.

There is no age to when you become an adult. You can not change from one day to another, one day being a child/teenager and the other an adult. It takes a gradual process to become an adult, but that's only my opinion. What do you think?
