My last reason that I am a typical Australian is that I own a pet and 63% of Australia has a pet and 83% of Australia has a pet sometime in their lifes.
How much percent do I think my family is typically Australian
Because of this I think my family is 99% typically Australian.

I am a typical Australian because I have two children in my family, one boy and one girl.

I also have a pool and a trampoline which shows on the census data that that a typical Australian has either one or both of these.
What I thought before I started researching
Before I started researching information for this task I thought that most Australian families consist of 2 adults, 2 children, 2 cars, they lived in a 1-2 storey house, they own at least one pet and have at least 2 pieces of technology in their household.

The only difference between my family and a typical Australian and my data collated is that my mum and dad are separated and the data collected shows that most people are either married or in a relationship.

Me and my family are all catholic which the data shows that 68.0% of people are.
My perceptions of a typical Australian family was mostly correct except for the fact that not every family has a family of 4.
