peried of centuies, also the President, Frist Lady preside over ceremonies and offices of greetings Building and Refurbishing the White House The British bruned the Exectuive Mansonn
in the war of 1812, then rebuited, repainted
it and called it the White House.
Remaining Open to the People Presidents create evnts that encourage
people to feel they have access to the
leader of a demorcratic society. Official Occasions The President and his family are responsible for receiving a wide varitey of dignitares at the White House. White House Weddings The weddings are restricted to some people but the pubilc wants to know everything. Creating a Private Life When George Washington decided that the President should work and live in the same residence, so in doing that it is almost impossible to live a normal life.
