A personalized, systems-oriented model that empowers patients and practitioners to achieve the highest expression of health by working in collaboration to address the underlying disease

Aims to find the causes of complex chronic diseases and try to heal them as opposed to just treating the symptoms

Looks specifically at identifying interactions among genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors that can influence long-term health and chronic disease
