Ethos: Samsung used LeBron as their persuader because he is well known by adults and children
Pathos: They used his family to put emotion in the commercial like the scene in the kitchen with his sons. This is directed to household familys
They actually used more than one Pathos.The scene with him face-timing the children is directed to people who work with kids or do things in their community
Logos: as you see at the end of the commercial they said "The next big thing is here", which is comparing LeBron fame and success to the Galaxy Note 2 which they think is going be as popular as LeBron
Pathos:When the car crashed what did you feel? How about when they showed the baby play next to the road with the car crash going on? How about the the boy riding the bike? They used this to trigger your emotions and for me the kids are what triggered my emotions,maybe this is why they are the persuaders.This was their way of convincing their argument by creating an emotional response
Logos:At the end of the commercial it states:"no post,glance,email, search, or text is worth a life" this was the way of persuading the audience by reason. The reason they were in an car accident was because the woman was looking at her phone for a post.
are more effective to me because its all about how you feel about it the product that makes you want to pay attention to it and make you want to buy it or not.
