Transcript of Drake

Aubrey Graham, or known as Drake, was born on October 24, 1986, in Toronto, Ontario. His parents are Sandi Graham, an educator, and his father is Dennis Graham a drummer who worked with Jerry Lee Lewis. As Drake grew older he decided to attend Forest Hill Collegiate Institute, for acting. Finally after graduating from acting school Aubrey met an agent, his father's friend, and decided that he would play a good role in the Canadian TV show
Degrassi: The Next Generation
; he would play as the character Jimmy Brooks.

Public Image
Besides Drake rapping and creating CDs, he appears in music videos with other celebrities. For example, he appeared in music videos with Rihanna, Lil Wayne, Trey Songz, Eminem, Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, Jay Z, etc. He has acted in other Canadian television shows like Blue Murder, Soul Food, The Border, and Beyond the Break.
Influences
Drake admired Leonardo DiCaprio and Jimi Hendrix because he likes the way they carry themselves and how much they love their work. Also, he admired Jay-Z because he is intelligent and how long he has been in the rap game and still going strong. Lastly, would be Kanye West because Kanye doesn't care what anyone says he just does himself.
Genre
Drake is a hip hop artist and also a rapper, but not a hardcore rapper like Ice Cube. He raps about his rawest feelings and emotions. Drake's songs mostly express his feelings on love, heartbreaks, and how grateful people should be.
