Focus on the progress of individual trainees against individual expectations, leading to training that is well matched to their individual needs and targets
All gained employment in schools, all are still in their jobs and all have continuing or new contracts for the following year
Beyond having very positive attitudes and commitment to teaching, they show a passion for their subject, and want students to do well and enjoy their work.
The enhancement of the programme enables trainees to develop particular skills
The partnership supports a clear continuum of professional development through initial training
Excellent mentoring is especially strong in physical education
Assessment is noted by External Examiners to be innovative and challenging for the students
A wide range of coursework, presentations and examinations are used across the programme that enable students to demonstrate their knowledge skills and understanding against intended learning outcomes, but also align assessments to skills needed for employment in the sector
