Waffles are always the same portion

Pancakes always come out differently

Waffles can me timed so they come out the same every time

Pancakes batter can become lumpy if you cook it for too long
5. Time
1. Geometric Shape
Squares keep syrup absorbed in waffle

Squares make it easier to cut a waffle neatly

Whereas...
syrup gets everywhere with pancakes
2. Effort
Either pop it in a toaster or pour the batter into a waffle griddle...waffles will always take less effort make than pancakes
What is a waffle?
According to Urban Dictionary...
a waffle is like a pancake with syrup traps
Waffles are BETTER than Pancakes
Some argue...
Pancakes come in all kinds of shapes and varieties

SO DON'T WAFFLES!

Pancakes have a better availability as they are easier to make

Waffles and pancakes have the same ingredients practically
