The Sichuan Earthquake 2008 It is the 21st deadliest earthquake of all time.
The earthquake was also felt in nearby countries and as far away as both Beijing and Shanghai—1,500 kilometres (932 mi) and 1,700 kilometres (1,056 mi) away—where office buildings swayed with the tremor Bodies, classrooms, disease, earthquake, link, new, people, prices, response, Richter, shake, Shanghai, Society, troops, water, western
In 2008, an xxx measuring 7.9 on the xxx scale occurred in Sichuan, South xxx China. The immediate response was to send 50,000 xxx to the region. The Red cross xxx of China provided tents, medical supplies and drinking xxx for the 4.3 homeless xxx. The internet was used to xxx up survivors and the rescue effort. Also in the short term, 70,000 xxx needed to be cleared so the spread of xxx would be reduced. The long term xxx is focused on rebuilding infrastructure. Over 7,000 xxx had collapsed. The local people need to find ways that they can trust the builders of the xxx schools.
