This book takes place in two places. The first place is Killer Pizza Headquarters, in New York. This place is where they get all their weapons for monster hunting. The second place is the town of Hidden Hills, Ohio. This is where the main characters live, and take care of Calanthe.
Killer Pizza the Slice is about three teenagers Annabel, Toby, and Strobe. They are pizza makers, but their secret side job is they are monster combat fighters. Their mission is to defeat an invisible creature called a Rukh. A unique girl named Calanthe is chosen to be a sacrificial offering in a ceremony for the Rukh, or Dekayi as they are called. Calanthe has to learn how to control her powers, because she can turn into a Rukh like- monster at any time with surprise. The gang keeps Calanthe safe, and never lets her out of their sight. Will this be enough to keep her alive? What will they go through for her?
I think people should read this book because it is scary, adventurous, and mysterious. I would recommend this book if you are into adventure and monsters. I would give this book a 5 star rating!!
