Night's Dream Lysander Hermia Helena Dmitrius Problem? Yes: the love square above went from bad to worse in the play before being fixed. Love needs a balence, one person needs to be liked by only one person and like only one person or else you get love difficulties. "It is clear that love is never simple, Magic plays a big part in the resolution of the play. Without it, the love square would not have been fixed and the comedy would turn into a tragedy. The Fairies, and their flower who's juice causes people to fall in love with the first thing they see. It decribes love to be like magic: not very fun or rewarding if you lose faith in it. The love triangle and trials that Hermia had to endure when she loved Dmitrius, whom her father didn't want her to marry. Dreams can have a healing power and hurting power, like when it gave the faries an oppurtunity to fix the love square, but failed initially. Imagining love as a positive thing Aptly titled a mid summer night's dream, this play shows a play within itself, and the players could not act in order to enjoy the play, one must have an open mind, like Theseus: "If we imagine no worse of them than they of themselves, than they may pass for excellent men." that it brings with it struggles of the past..." -Thomas Moore makes going for another relationship much easier and stops one from stalling into a cold and bitter lifestyle.
