Latin Root
"cred" Believe or Trust
Credentials
Proof of qualification or achievment usually used to indicate a person's suitability for something.
Credibility
The quality of being able to be trusted and believed in.
Credo
A statement of a person's beliefs that guide their actions.
Discredit
To hurt someon'es reputation
Credence
The belief or acceptance of something being true.
Accreditation
A process in which certification of competency, authority, or credibility is presented
Credulous
When you show to be too gullible or too ready to believe in things.
Creed
A belief or a faith
Incredulous
A person's unwillingness to believe in or of something.
Miscreant
A person who breaks the law or behaves very badly.
