Transcript of Athletochondria

Athletochondria Athletochondria can be found in all tissues of the human body. This new organelle will allow people to become better athletes by helping them to get even more energy when they are tired. Many athletes are very talented, but they don't always have the energy to keep their body going for long periods of time. Athletochondria will respond when people are tired using the proteins on the outer membranes to release extra energy. Structure: What is it? The structure of the athletochondria is much like that of mitochondria, since they have such similar functions. However, the athletochondria only has one membrane, called the protectthishousebrane and does not contain DNA. Athletochondria has proteins on the inside of the membrane that help to store energy, called totherescuteins. The rest of the athletochondria is filled with very hard solid that holds everything in place, called the stabilityzone. This kind of resembles the cytoplasm but the inner part of the athletochondria is much more tough. Interactions With Other Organelles The cell starts feeling that it is getting tired the brain sends a wave to the cells. The message comes in contact with the membrane of the cell and is let through by a protein. It then is carried through microtubules to the nucleus which send the message to the athletochondria that tells it it send out energy in the form of proteins. These are made with help from the ribosome. Then transported in the golgi apparatus and microtubules. They are finally exported by the cell and enery is released to the athlete. Problems in the Cell The good thing about athletochondria is that there are hardly any problems within the cell. They react with only the organelles they need to. Though sometimes these may be confused in the cell for the ribosomes. This will cause the the body to become very energetic even if they aren't tired, which may cause hyper fits. Improvements in the Cell There are many improvements in a cell with athletochondria that regular cells do not have. If a ribosome were to ever stop working, the cell has a back up to help make energy. Another improvement is the overall increased energy of the cell, and the overall energy of the athlete.
