It also included an observation deck, shops, daycare, and restaurants overlooking the view. there were also the main head quarters for several major business there. David Rockefeller came up with the idea for The World Trade Center. He planned to make downtown Manhattan the home of world commerce. He wanted people to have a place to do their work and business. What is the origin and who started The World Trade Center The World Trade Center What are the current conditions of The World Trade Center? The current condition of The World Trade Center is getting rebuilt after the 9/11 attacks. It is located in New York City. The building started to rebuild in 2006. It is expected to be finished rebuilding in New York City in 2014. The new World Trade Center is approximately 1776 feet tall. When done building it will have 110 floors. Answer Interesting Facts In the World Trade center there were two-hundred thirty nine elevators and 71 escalators. There was also 250,000 gallons of paint used for the whole entire complex. 50,000 people worked there. there was 30,000 cups of coffee sold there daily. Thanks For Watching Kids
