Professional Development Program The Career Assistance Branch (CAB) Russell Marine and Family Center Building 40 The P&PD program assists in the preparation, development, and achievement of personal and professional goals. offers guidance and assistance in exploring options for civilian employment. The CAB houses the Family Member Employment Assistance Program and the Career Resource Management Center and the Transition Readiness Seminar. Family Member Employee Assistance Program Offers individualized career assistance to family members of active and retired service members in all aspects of obtaining employment. Some of the services offered are:

The Personal Financial Management Program (PFMP) promotes personal and family financial responsibility, through education and counseling. PFMP also offers financial workshops throughout the year. •Welcome Aboard Briefs and Checkouts Resources Branch •The Relocation Assistance Program which assists military service members and their families in making a smooth move to and from Camp Lejeune

•Loan Locker which supplies temporary household goods to service members while setting up a new household Libraries The Camp Lejeune libraries are comprised of three separate facilities that offer literary, musical, artistic, and reference materials available for use. Library Facilities The libraries offer book clubs, summer reading programs, story times, audio books, DVDs, CDs and Video Games. They are equipped with meeting areas, study rooms and free Wi-Fi. John A. Lejeune Research Library: 825 Stone Street Designed to give Marines and their families ownership of their transition from the military. Transition Readiness Seminars consists of a CORE curricula and a Pathway Workshop which provides them with resources and opportunities to make informed decisions as they transition to civilian life. The CORE includes presentations on Pre-separation Counseling, VA Benefits, Reserve Opportunities and Obligations, Marine for Life and Personal Financial Management. •Entrepreneurship pathway~
educates about the preparation and planning needed prior to starting or purchasing a business. Transition Readiness Seminar (TRS)
Buildings 40 & 824 Advisors The CORE includes presentations on Pre-separation Counseling, VA Benefits, Reserve Opportunities and Obligations, Marine for Life and Personal Financial Management. CORE In addition, the TRS houses advisors who are available to assist service members in developing their Individual Transition Plan. Advisors meet with service members one-on-one and provide assistance with Veterans benefits, employment assistance, education process and budgeting.
