They provide a significant reinforcement to the soil.
The importance of this course
Certify that you have an understanding of the most important characteristics necessary for a plant to be useful

Let's begin with a brief introduction
The basic Vetiver Grass Technology or Vetiver System comprises a dense vetiver grass (Vetiveria zizanioides)
Having the component parts closely compacted together;
Why is this important
When it is planted across the slope of the land or embankment.
The hedgerow
traps sediments
spreads out rain-water runoff
provides though its roots significant reinforcement to the soil.
Can you imagine how this can help you.
