On August 31, 2006, Xbox Live reached 500,000 downloads. The Xbox Kinect for Xbox 360 was released on November 4, 2010. The Kinect allows players to use their body movements instead of a controller. A bundle was released to where players can buy the Kinect and Xbox console together for $399.99. Xbox 360's best selling game was
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
. On November 22, 2013, the Xbox One is realeased for $399.99. The Kinect bundle cost $499.99. The Xbox One has a 500 GB hard drive space. The best selling game for Xbox One is
Titanfall
. Over time, graphics became better and so did online play. More memory space allowed both graphics and multiplayer to get better over time.
The original Xbox system had 8 or 10 GB of hard drive space and required a wired controller to play with. The console used a 733 MHz Intel Pentium III CPU.


The Xbox 360 system had an option of a 25, 60, 120, 250, or 320 GB hard dive space. The console used a 3.2 GHz PowerPC Tri-Core Xenon CPU and used a wireless controller.

The Xbox One system has 500 GB of hard drive space. and a wireless controller. The console uses a Custom 1.75 GHz AMD 8-core APU processor.
Certain types of engineers make certain products. In creating the Xbox, there were three types of engineers working on it. Mechanical, computer software, and computer hardware engineers.
The social impact on the Xbox is huge and is loved by many kids and teens. There are many reasons the community likes the Xbox for example it has many games , it has a feature that you are able to play online with your friends and gets most of the DLC for COD a month early.
