Transcript of Alien life?

Is there anybody out there, or are we all alone in the Universe...
It is one of the big unanswered questions of all time... Alien Life? P1.14: Alien Life? Starter: The Solar System Beyond the Solar
System Investigating the Solar System Searching for Intelligent life Alien Pack L.O:
Describe the methods used to gather evidence for life beyond Earth, including Space Probes, soil experiments by landers and search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence. GRADE C - B
Describe the social, economic and environmental effects of decisions about the uses of science and technology. GRADE A Astronomy Presentation
The sun is a star at the centre of our solar system. The solar system is made up of planets, dwarf planets, asteroids and comets that orbit the sun. Our solar system is part of a galaxy. Galaxies contain billions of stars, and the distances involved are huge. The universe contains at least one billion galaxies. In 1976, two Viking landers touched down on Mars Scientists have discovered other planets orbiting other stars.
There are so many telescopes to find out about how a planet looks like, but scientists can also find out about the gases in the planet's atmosphere. Some of the electromagnetic radiation that we use for communication travels out into space and could be detected by
intelligent life.

Alien civilizations may even
be sending out signals to
try to contact other life
forms! Basically, we made an alien pack for you. In it you will find:

Summary of everything learnt of Alien Life?
Landers, Space Probes, Rovers, SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence)

Our Sun is a star. It seems much bigger than other stars in the sky because it’s much closer to Earth. Stars form immense groups called galaxies. A galaxy can contain many millions of stars, held together by the force of gravity.
The universe contains all the galaxies, thought to number over one billion. Stars and Galaxy's: The Solar System The earth orbits the Sun in just
about the right conditions. It is neither too hot or too cold Life evolved from different
chemical reactions Why does Earth have Life in it?
Why do YOU think we survive on this planet? They searched for chemical changes, in the soil that may have
come from living organisms. There was no evidence found! Scientists use space probes to photograph planets and observe them in detail. These probes have photographed channels of flowing water on Mars in the past. Rovers are used to take close up photographs to observe soil and rocks.
One of the famous rovers is the Mars Rover.
Another is Spirit which investigated the surface of Mars over 6 years and covered 12 miles. The Earth has a lot of oxygen, in its atmosphere, because plants release oxygen during photosynthesis. If oxygen is detected in the atmosphere of another planet, it may be evidence that life MAY exist on that planet. SETI:
Search for
Extraterrestrial Intelligence This is a name for a series of projects that analyse radio waves coming from space. They look for signals possibly produced by intelligent beings. NO MESSAGES HAVE BEEN DETECTED SO FAR! EXCLUSIVE:
Never seen before footage of Aliens playing.... Conclusion: Jazakallah for watching our presentation There are the key essentials on Earth e.g: Water and oxygen Some Brain teasers to start you off:
1. If you have it, you want to share it. If you
share it, you don't have it. What is it?
2. Take off my skin, I won't cry, but you will.
What am I?
3. You answer me, although I never ask you questions. What am I?
4. The more you take the more you leave behind. To end us off: 1. Secret, 2. Onion, 3. Telephone, 4. Footsteps
