1:45-2:10          HR First, I mapped out what a Friday schedule will look like. Then I decided which classes I’d need to change in order to meet the new early release schedule. In my case, my first homeroom block with PE/Music and homeroom stays the same. So, the first class I’d need to change is my Block #1 Science class. 9:20-10:20  PE/Music/HR

1:45-2:10          HR Create a special Friday early release schedule in Planbook.com without having to add a special event. Creating Special Schedules in Planbook.com Choose the Go To tab and
click on the classes tab to
go to the classes page. Once in the classes tab, click on the gear next to the class that you want to open. I chose to click on the gear symbol for my Block 1 Science class. A list of options come down and I will choose the edit tab to edit this class. Right now, my Friday schedule is exactly the same as the rest of my week. According to the schedule I laid out at the beginning of this presentation, I need to have my Block 1 times to be from 10:20-11:10. I just need to clear the ending time of my class and change it to the time that I'd like the class to end. Now you can see that I've changed the ending time of my Friday class to 11:10. I will hit Apply before exiting this page. When you click 'apply', the screen goes back to your classes page. According to the schedule I mapped out, I can see that the next "class" I will need to change is recess. I click on the gear tab next to the class labeled AM Recess and choose edit. The time schedule for my AM Recess class comes up. I will need to clear both the start and end times for this recess in order to change it to the 11:15 start time and the 11:30 end time that I need. I have changed the start and end times for the AM Recess class and will also click Apply to save my changes and go back to my classes page. You will need to edit every class for Friday and change the time to fit the new schedule. If you look at my class list above, you will see that there are no Friday times listed for PM recess and Homeroom PM. (Go to the next slide) The Friday start and end times have been completely deleted. This class will no longer show on the Friday set of plans. The finished Friday schedule.
