Student Chef Recipe Fish Cakes 3 medium potatoes $2.68 small bunch of parsley $0.79 1/2 cup of all purpose flour $0.40 2 cups of fresh bread crumbs $0.79 Butter $3.49 Vegetable oil $3.29 Vegetables on the side Beverage Banana Berry Juice $2.19 Dessert Chocolate Crispy Cakes Milk Chocolate $4.98 Corn Flakes Cereal $3.49 Main Course Recipe for fish cakes 1. Peel the potatoes, cut them into large chunks and place in a saucepan of salted water. BOIL for 12 to 18 minutes or until tender
Meanwhile, wash and dry the parsley, cut off the stalks and chop the reat finely.Drain off any liquids from the tuna fish
Beat the eggs with a whisk or fork ina small bowl.Put the eggs flour and bread crumbs into 3 separate shallow bowls or plates
When the potatoes have cooked, drian off the water and mash them.Stir butter and season with salt and pepper
6. Split the tuna mixture into 4 or 8 portioans. Roll each one into a ball with your hands, then flatten it into a round fishcake
Turn each fish cake in the flour to coat it completely, then dip itin the beaten egg and finally in the bread crumbs
Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan. When it is hot, fry the fish cakes on both sides until crisp and golden brown
