1775–1783- Yale survives the american revolutionary war and remains intact.
the 19th and 20th centuries brought the establishment of the graduate and professional schools that would make Yale a true university.
Today, Yale has matured into one of the world’s great universities. The University is currently ranked third on the US News & World Report college rankings. It is known as one of the premier research universities in the nation. Yale University comprises three major academic components: Yale College (the undergraduate program), the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, and the professional schools.
