The infamous H Division - the police precinct charged with keeping order in the district of Whitechapel- is in a chaotic state trying to keep order after a horrific time for London and reported infamously worldwide.
A new drama set in the East End of London in 1889
during the aftermath of Jack The Ripper murders.
REPRESENTATION
Inspector Mr Edmund Reid he is a serious but cleaver inspector,he takes his job very seriously and is very dedicated to his job.
He dresses in a formal way which connotes that he is well payed and has quite a bit of money,He is a very respected man that is a good influence on the society.
The effect of this setting being around the time of jack the ripper is that it adds suspense and mystery to the programme as a crime drama, and knowing that its based around a real event that happened in 1889.

The style of Ripper street is
set back in the 1889 in the streets of east london, long ridged allys and rats its a very gloomy atmosphere.
the camera angles in ripper stritter are sometimes staggerd to show effect that the killer is out again and hes not alone the producer has obviously thought about this carefully.
