Article 30 Nothing in this Declaration may be interpreted as implying for any State, group or person any right to engage in any activity or to perform any act aimed at the destruction of any of the rights and freedoms set forth herein. What does it mean? It means that no country, group or individual can violate any article set forth in this document by using another article to justify such action or through any other means An Example.. Hu Jia Investigating the HIV/AIDS pandemic in the PRC during the 1990's and was involved in providing support to those affected by AIDS in the Henan Province.
Often accused the government of being unable to give sufficient medical support to those with AIDS as well and the unwillingness to help protect the endagered Tibetan Antelope.
May 18th, 2007, Hu Jia is placed under house arrest with his wife on charges of "Harming State Security"
He was arrested on December 30th, 2007 and was charged with "inciting subversion of state power and the socialist system" An example would be the violation
of ones freedom of expression in the
name of "Social Security" So why is this article important?
