Tobacco Tobacco is a very common drug often used in cigarettes and cigars, snuff, and for smoking in pipes. Tobacco can be smoked, chewed or snuffed, but either way it produces a narcotic effect the short term effects are an increase of blood pressure, heart rate, flow of the blood from the heart, the arteries narrow, carbon monoxide reduces amout of blood oxygen it can give you lung cancer and or heart problems in the long run. 8th grade-21.0%
10th grade-30.4%
12th grade-36.5% with every puff, you breathe in over 4,000 different chemicals, including
carbon monoxide
