The Causes Of The Great Depression
1. STOCK MARKET CRASH
The second event that happened was the failing crops and material prices right before the depression. This was bad news to farmers because they would not be able to feed their families and they could not sell bad/invisible food to customers. Also business owners because they would be receiving less money for their goods.
Another problem was the government policies. The
government had big tariffs that decreased world-wide trade and narrowed the money supply. This led to the"no money" issue that affected many different societies around the world.
5.Bank had Failed
The Stock Market Crash led to unprecedented runs banks,
and by 1992 more than 11,000 of the nation's 25,000
banks had failed and was forced to close up shop.
The Great Depression was a worldwide economic depression. It lasted from 1929 to about 1939. The bank kept loaning money, and when the people came to get the money the banks could not give them any money. A lot of people lost there house and jobs because of this.

Largely credited with bringing American out the Great Depression by providing jobs and relief.
The first event that caused the great depression was the stock market crash of 1929.
*Adolph Hitler was alive and moving during the Great Depression
*Al Capone opened a soup kitchen so the people could eat (also for more public relations)
*The game "Monopoly" was popular in the era because people could get rich
*About 40% of America had no misfortune during those years
The country didn't fully recover until 1941, when munition, and ammunition factories geared up for World War 2
