Who Is Gucci Mane?
Gucci Mane, formerly known as Radric Davis, is one of the most influential rappers in the trap genre.

Born in Birmingham, Alabama and began rapping at age 14 because of his love for poems.

Seven years later, Gucci Mane was arrested from drug charges. Beginning the era of Gucci being locked up.

He graduated with honors at the age 16 and went to Lawson State Community College. He majored on Poultry Biology.
Gucci got his name from his Dad's nickname. His grandmother used to call his father Gucci when he was younger.
His first hit was "Icey" featuring Young Jeezy. The two later began beefing after Gucci put "Icy" on his album "Trap House" instead of Jeezy's "Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101."
He was managed by Debra Antney, who also managed Nicki Minaj and Lex Luger.
He opened the record label after signing with Mizay Entertainment in 2007.
Gucci closed So Icey Entertainment in 2910 and left Mizay Entertainment after problems with Deb (previous manager, and Waka's mom)
