In Spanish verbs change depending on who is doing the action. So far, we have only seen verbs in the she, he or they form . Verbs in the she or he form end in either and "a" or an "e". Verbs in the they form end in "n"

Example:
camina= she/he walks come= she/he eats

To say that “I” am doing a thing we take off the “a” or “e” and add an
“o” to the verb. That changes the verb from the she/he form to the I form.
Example:
camina come
(-a) (-e)
Camin com
(+o) (+o)
camino= I walk como= I eat

begin working with verbs in the I form
Un día la abuela y la hija entran a la casa y ven el monstruo. La hija grita ¡Ay! ¡Ay! ¡Ay! La abuela pega el monstruo. El monstruo besa a la abuela.
La abuela y la hija salen de la casa y agarran unas pesas. Ellas tiran las pesas al monstruo. Las pesas pegan al monstruo, y el monstruo llora y llora.
