So I exhort the elders among you, as a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ as well as a partaker in the glory that is to be revealed. Tend the flock of God that is your charge, not by constraint but willingly, not for shameful gain but eagerly, not as domineering over those in your charge but being examples to the flock. And when the chief Shepherd is manifested you will obtain the unfading crown of glory. (1 Peter 5:1-4, RSV) Christian's desire motivated by the spirit of stewardship . . . Regarding "Stewardship" generosity love communion conversion of heart, i.e. being identified with Jesus commitment to service "in Christ" & "with Christ" fruit of real freedom, i.e. a relatedness that is not forced but freely embraced stewardship we need to clarify how we are playing our part as guide for others as they navigate between good and evil, between holiness and sinfulness, between Christ and the world we need to think of how we play our part as the light of the world we need to determine how our generosity measures with God's generosity (intention) CHRISTIAN

How am I an edifying example for other people to follow Christ? How am I a hindrance to other people to embrace Christ and the Christian faith? 3.
