How will your Film appeal to the target audience?
Transcript of How will your Film appeal to the target audience?
The characters will appeal to the audience as they are the same age as the characters on screen and will relate to the characters experiences and will sympathise with the experiences that the on screen characters have and may wish that they are never in the same situation as the characters.
The actors used will appeal to the target audience as the audience will be the same age as the actors used in our opening. The girl is to look innocent and vulnerable and the therapist is to look mysterious and dark.
Mise en Scene
the costume of the girl will appeal to the audience as it will be modern so girls will be able to relate to themselves wearing the same or similar and boys will be able to picture girls in the same clothes. the therapists costume will be dark colours and will appeal to the audience as they will recognise the costume as a detective or someone official like a therapist.
the setting will appeal to the target audience as a park will show childhood innocence and the audience will remember their experiences at the park, however the park is quite old and run down which will show vulnerability and insecurity. the office location will appeal to the audience as it will be authoritative and nothing out of the ordinary.
the props will appeal to the audience as the use of the laptop by the therapist shows the official use for a laptop rather than the social network machine that it is now known. the girl will be holding something that will show innocence and therefore the audience will reflect and sympathise on the fact that she is still a child at heart.
In the narrative and storyline the girl will use the vocabulary of a typical teenager to appeal to the target audience as they will notice that they use most of the same vocabulary.
